Cockliffe Country House is an exclusive use wedding and events venue, situated in the heart of Nottinghamshire countryside.

Built in 1678, Cockliffe Country House is a Grade II listed building which has been lovingly refurbished and extended to create the enchanting venue we have today. Think high ceilings and cosy corners married together to make the perfect combination of old and new, Cockliffe Country House is the ideal setting for your wedding day. 

With the secluded location and tranquil setting, it’s hard to believe you’re just 15 minutes from Nottingham City Centre. As an exclusive use venue, this means that the venue and grounds are all yours! The only people that will be onsite for your wedding are your guests, suppliers and our staff. Your exclusivity begins from 11am on the morning of your wedding until midnight. Our iconic stone building and stunning grounds creates the ideal backdrop for your photos.

As a listed building we’re proud of our rich history and around each corner tells the story. Join us in the Elliott Suite where the magic happens! This room is named after the last family who called Cockliffe their home. Afterwards grab a drink in the Seeley Bar or relax in the Churchill Room. Our charming venue offers a relaxed environment. We provide in-house catering with a variety of menus to choose from, a highly experienced team and a dedicated event manager for all our couples allocated 8 weeks before their wedding day. We know providing a stress-free service and a familiar face for our couples is very important. Our event managers and whole team will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best day of your lives!
