Wedding Faqs

Frequently asked questions

Can we throw confetti?
Yes, we kindly ask that this is biodegradable. Should you wish to bring confetti cannons, these must also be biodegradable.

How many food choices can we choose for our wedding breakfast?

If you are choosing from our three course menus, you would choose one starter, one main, and one dessert for all of your guests. Should you wish to have a choice menu, please speak to our team.

Do you accommodate dietaries?

Absolutely, yes!

Can we have fireworks?
Due to livestock living in the surrounding fields we do not allow fireworks. You are more than welcome to bring your own sparklers.

Can we bring our own band/DJ?
Yes, you can choose to have a band or a DJ. We suggest that your band is no larger than 5-piece band and we require a copy of their public liability insurance prior to the event. We do also have a list of recommended suppliers.

What time are you licensed until?
Midnight.

Do you provide car parking?
Yes we do, no charges apply. Please note we have enough parking for roughly 40 cars. We ask that cars are collected by 10am the following morning, ahead of that days wedding.

Do you welcome dogs?

Yes, they must be always kept on a lead and any mess made, must be collected and disposed of by the owner.

What props live at the venue?

You can use our Box & Bubbles bar during your drinks reception, white aisle carpet for your ceremony and sweet cart which you can load with your own sweets for your evening reception. We also have a white cake stand (15 inches diameter), silver cake knife and an easel that you can use. These are all free of charge.

What time can we access the bedrooms?

Check-in is 3pm.

How many can fit on a table for our meal?

You can seat a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 guests per round table. We advise 8 is ideal.

When do we have a meeting with the venue?

You will meet with a member of the team around 8 months before your wedding to discuss your menu choices and your drinks options. You will then be allocated your own Event Manager around 8 weeks before your wedding day, they will then invite you to your final details meeting where you will go through all of the details of your day.
